This is where I learnt all about Breakthrough Leadership and being able to unlock possibility like never before. Having spent time working with the Global Commercial Heads across the world, we established a
‘Diageo Way of Selling’ which became the go to point of reference for all commercial and IT enabled sales and marketing solutions.

This is where I truly learnt about the power of relationships and getting truly aligned with someone in the truest form of the word. From there I was fortunate to run the Global Travel and Middle East business unit, the biggest Johnnie Walker Blue business in Diageo.

And it was there that I developed a kindred sense of a ‘One Team’ ethic, working alongside some quite amazing business leaders within the International Division. By owning others’ agendas and targets as well as my own, the power of Team shone through like a beacon and we were able to achieve record growth amidst the economic gloom and collapse of 2008/2009.
